The Saucony Xodus Ultra 4 is a premium trail shoe with maximum cushioning, optimal for long distances. The Xodus Ultra 4 features unmatched cushioning, a wider platform and higher sidewalls to maintain good comfort and stability during long days in the terrain. The new Vibram Megagrip outsole gives the Xodus Ultra 4 even better grip and durability than before. 

The core of the midsole is made of Saucony's superfoam PWRRUN PB. PWRRUN PB is a lightweight material that combines maximum shock absorption and long life. A frame of stabilizing PWRRUN surrounds the core, which allows the shoe to handle the toughest terrain. The wider sole base provides increased ground contact and a stabilizing effect. The new VIBRAM Megagrip outsole provides the best possible grip, and in combination with a 6 mm drop, excellent conditions are provided for full control over the varying surface. The shoe is also equipped with a gaiter attachment, for a better running experience in more unpaved terrain.

The unique and trail-adapted FORMFIT fit creates an optimal and individually enveloping fit around the entire foot. The top of the midsole is anatomically shaped to cradle the foot and provide better support around the heel and arch. From above, the foot is comfortably and stably hugged with the help of a moldable, durable, seamless and trail-adapted mesh, which is combined with a stabilizing 3D structure around the midfoot. The upper is also made of recycled material, to reduce our ecological footprint.
