Y-3

Y-3

Created by iconic Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto in 2003, Yamamoto partnered with Adidas to bring designer sports fashion from the East with Y-3.
Prior to Y-3, Yamamoto has a long history in the fashion industry with his namesake label and Y’s which began in 1972.
Y-3 produces avant-garde fashion with a sports twist that can be seen mostly in black and white color schemes, that can be described as luxury sportswear.
The name Y-3 comes from Yohji’s first initial “Y” and “3” which represents iconic three-stripes of the Adidas brand. The brand produces apparel, accessories and footwear and has grown to be vastly popular in both the streetwear and sports industry.
